Seven years ago, we opened our doors with a passionate commitment to bring the true flavors of Italy to Woburn.
Founded by the talented chef Samuel Azevedo, our restaurant is an extension of his dedication of over 35 years to Italian cuisine. But more than that, we are a family. From the very beginning, the restaurant has been lovingly and passionately managed by Samuel, his wife Suamy Azevedo, our son Klismann Azevedo, and our daughter Kimberly Azevedo.
These seven years have been an exciting journey, marked by memorable moments and dishes that have captured the hearts of our customers. We remain committed to offering you an authentic experience where tradition and quality shine.

Chef Samuel Azevedo is a passionate advocate for Italian cuisine, with a career that began in 1988 when he joined the renowned Mamma Maria Restaurant in the heart of North End. He embarked in this journey as a helper in the kitchen, preparing, cleaning, organizing and even dish washing. Then his passion drove him to explore every aspect of Italian cooking, which led him to be one of the chefs at Mamma’s.
Over the years, Chef Samuel excelled in crafting homemade pastas, creating traditional Italian sauces, and maintaining meticulous kitchen organization. Working alongside the finest chefs in the region, he honed his culinary skills and deepened his understanding of authentic Italian cuisine.
His dedication led him to Euno Restaurant, where he contributed to menu development and trained the culinary team of the era.
Following this rich trajectory, Chef Samuel decided to return to Brazil in 2008, where he founded his own Italian restaurant. For five years, he and his family worked tirelessly to share the authentic flavors of Italy with their customers.
However, his love for Italian cuisine and his relentless pursuit of excellence brought him back to the United States, where he established Sam’s Kitchen. With over 35 years of experience in Italian cooking and a legacy of success, Chef Samuel Azevedo brings to Sam’s Kitchen a rich culinary heritage.
Under his guidance, Sam’s Kitchen continues to be a haven for lovers of Italian cuisine, where tradition and quality meet in every dish.
